I am a physics teacher trying to convince my students that being a geek IS cool. A couple of us are trying to put together a poster series (Embrace your Inner Geek), and now we are arguing about whether geeks are better than nerds. Personally, I think so, but the others would rather change the slogan.
So,
1. Is there a difference between a Geek and a Nerd?
2. Which is better?
3. Who are some well known geeks that high school kids could look up to and realise that geekdom is cool?
